Spur Wing Shed House

My good friend Doug from the sailing club helped me build the first flight of stairs. SO MUCH better than going up the ladder. Easier for Tiny as well. She suffers from separation anxiety so much that she managed to climb a ladder just be close to us! She will fly up these. The lovely turquoise is how the beams come after being treated. I will cover them with a veneer in due course. Nice easy steps just a tad over six inches high per step. Two nice big landings. Entrance View... Looking down from first floor...

First stairs are made. Quite a nice shade of blue don't you think?

I took a whizz with the whirly bird yesterday. We have completed the deck of the main living floor (the first floor). Perimeter framing has finished, and all, barring two sections, are in place awaiting permanent fixture. Framing around stairwell also complete, and most joists for the attic have been raised.
