August Drone Report

The framing is about 80% complete, after three and a half months. All of the sub-flooring is installed. The staircase goes all the way to the top now, with temporary bannister. The attic floor framing still needs completing as well as some frames internally on the first floor. The ground floor is done. We have decided to simply clad the whole building in structural ply, beyond the requirements. It helps protect the building for now as well as cut down on the wind inside. Temporary ply balustrades have been erected for safe access to all floors. I am often asked when the house will be finished. The answer is I do not know. Lock-up may be achieved by the end of the year, but I am not certain. A highlight is that we have finally finished the concreting around the house with the completion of the apron between the house and the shed. Benny our concretor did a great job.
