Spur Wing Shed House

We finally have the garage doors installed, so at last we have lock up. The Copper sailing boat weather vane's life has ended prematurely. A couple of very windy nights saw it bend and crash to the ground. A little more plastering done upstairs. ...And we have begun putting in the raked ceiling, which is white steel mini-orb. There have been many gorgeous mornings, like this one with fog in the valley. The plumber came for a couple of days, but left with the job unfinished. Fortunatly we have other jobs to do.

The plumbers finally came and put in a couple of days, and disappeared again. Partly because they need me to order some tap fittings, which I have done, and mostly because business is more lucrative elsewhere. The tap fittings are taking much longer to appear. The price you pay for shopping around for the lowest price is that these firms do not have stock and order it in from other suppliers, or possibly straight from China, even though you are dealing with an Australian based firm. Anyway, I am getting enough materials in to keep the boys busy. The mini-orb ceiling below the deck has been installed, and more insulation and plaster linings have been been put in place.
