Framed at last

After five months we finally finished the framing with the completion of the gable end frames. The bridge metal work is in place, and the first cables for the footpath handrails has arrived.

We have placed the gable barge capping on one end of the roof, with the other end going on next.

The engineer has submitted his certification for the metal framing, so all we need now is the certifier to sign off the wooden frame. The champagne will flow when that happens.

The next big job is installing windows and cladding. Given that I am yet to order the windows, that will take some time. At this rate I do not expect lockup to be achieved until well into the new year.
